My name is Jeff Smith, I started my construction experience at a young age in Illinois, helping my dad build a garage or deck here and there, and installed fencing for a few years. In 1998 is when I got my first home building job as a laborer. After only 2-1/2 years I was running my own crews and framing custom homes from the ground up. My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2007, which is when I started my own sub-contracting business and got into remodeling, and basement finishing. I am now a general contractor and have learned many things over the years and still enjoy what I do, that is why I continue to do most of the work myself and keep subs to a minimum.
